Francesca Maria Leo, Galatina (LE) 1° dicembre 1991
She graduated in Law from the University of Salento in 2015, with a 110 cum laude and honorable mention, defending a thesis in Insolvency Law entitled “The Crisis of the Small Entrepreneur“, with which she competed for the IV OCI Prize, intended for graduates with thesis on the disciplines of corporate insolvency procedures, obtaining publication by the Observatory on the Business Crisis.
Shortly after graduating, she began collaborating with the Chair of Commercial Law and Insolvency Law at the University of Salento as a lecturer in the subject. During his academic experience she took part in numerous conferences and held in-depth seminars on the main issues related to commercial law, with specific attention to corporate law and bankruptcy law.
Until 2017, she successfully completed a traineeship at the Court of Appeal of Lecce pursuant to article 73 D.L. 69/2013, where she collaborated with the judge in all ordinary activities, participating in training courses organized for judges, and gaining specific experience in the civil law field, particularly in banking, corporate and insurance.
In October 2018, she qualified to practice law at the Lecce Bar Association.
In 2019, she was appointed member of the Commercial Section of the Camera Civile Salentina.
In the course of her professional activity, she developed a specific experience in consulting and legal assistance in the civil sector: in this regard, she dealt mainly with commercial law, company law and insolvency law.
Since January 2020 she has been attending the 2nd level Master’s Degree Course “Jurists and Business Consultants” directed by Prof. Sabino Fortunato at the University of Roma Tre, where she is studying in depth issues relating to new regulations in the field of criminal tax law.
She is the author of several publications on corporate law.
