She graduated in Law in 2015 at the University of Florence with honors, defending a thesis in international criminal law entitled “Joint Criminal Enterprise: origin, development and criticality of a controversial form of co-participation in international criminal law”.

In 2014 she spent a semester in Belgium for research purposes, at the Faculty of Law and Criminology of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, as part of the LLP Erasmus program, where she studied issues related to International Criminal Law and to Transitional Justice.

In 2016 she published a chapter entitled “The corporate liability for international crimes” in the part relating to the corporate liability of the Treaty on Criminal Law on Economics by UTET.

 

She has been enrolled to the Bar since 2017, where she was the winner of the “Antonio Lisi” Award for the highest grade in the Criminal subjects in the Bar admission exam for the year 2016-2017.

She gained experience in legal advice and assistance in environmental matters and in the renewable energy sector. In particular, she developed specific skills in drafting Organizational, Management and Control Models pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 231/2001, calibrated on the peculiar corporate and organizational structures of the sector, as well as in the preparation of preventive Due Diligence reports in the context of M&A and corporate restructuring transactions or in other investment projects aimed at highlighting potential criminal risks.

She has also gained experience in criminal litigation both out-of-court and at judicial level, providing legal assistance and advice in Italian and English to individuals and Italian/multinational corporations on issues related to the criminal law of the economy and business. In particular, she dealt with corporate, bankruptcy and tax crimes related to occupational safety and medical negligence.

She also provided legal advice and assistance to Clients in cross-border judicial surrender procedures (European Arrest Warrant).
